Vera van Wolferen (1988) is a storyteller, cardboardcraftswoman and creator of meticulously crafted cardboard sets that are often the stage for her stop motion animations but they can also be sculptures telling their own stories. Vera van Wolferen studied fine art at the AKI in Enschede and specialized in stop motion during her masters in animation at AKV St. Joost where she graduated in 2013.
The medium of stop motion animation combines her passion for sculpture with film and sound. With her atmospherical animations she tells stories about personal experiences. Using visual metaphors to draw you into a tactile world.
